Churchill Downs is a bit far away, but luckily that’s not stopping The Valley from celebrating the Kentucky Derby in style! Come place your bets, dress your best and watch the Run for the Roses with us TOMORROW at the Valley’s only live racehorse track.

\nDoors open this Saturday, May 6th at 10:45 a.m with the first live horse race taking place at 11:30a.m. There will be races happening throughout the day with The Kentucky Derby live-streaming at approximately 3:57p.m. Betting terminals are conveniently located inside the tent as well as inside Turf Paradise itself for you to place your bets. Wagering is cash only and ATMs can be found on-site. The event concludes at 6pm.<\/p>\n

LOCATION
\nTurf Paradise is located at 1501 West Bell Road in Phoenix. The Derby DayClub is located along the backstretch on the west side of Turf Paradise’s large, main building and designated by a very large, white Polo Party-style tent. Please follow the signs labeled with the Derby DayClub logo to Gate 1 to park closest to our event entrance.<\/p>\n

PLEASE NOTE: Arizona Department of Transportation has a planned closure of Northbound I-17 from Friday, May 5th until Monday, May 8th between Northern Avenue and Greenway Road. ADOT recommends exiting ahead of the closure and using 19th and 35th avenues to reconnect with I-17.<\/p>\n

PARKING – CHANGED FOR 2023!
\nFor best parking onsite, please go to Gate 1 and park in the lot adjacent to the event entrance. Event parking will be $7 for General parking and $10 for Valet. Only cash is accepted. Turf Paradise controls all parking decisions and is the recipient of all parking funds collected.<\/p>\n

RESERVED TABLES
\nIf you have purchased or are a guest at a reserved VIP table in either the
\nSanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge or High Noon Sun Sips Pavilion, please check in with our reserved seating concierges located at the entrance of the tent. Upon check-in, they will give you a reserved table wristband.
\nNot sure where to go from there? Don’t worry. They will direct you to your table which will be displaying a sign with your name in the center. For any other questions throughout the day, please consult the concierge who can further help you.<\/p>\n

\nA variety of vendors will be inside and outside the tent, including Quarter Past Dress, Club Nirvana, Navi Nurses and some beautiful cars provided by Sanderson Lincoln.<\/p>\n

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
\nIt wouldn’t be a Kentucky Derby party without the official Woodford Reserve Mint Julep. No-host bars can be found within the Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge and the High Noon Sun Sips Pavilion. M Culinary offers guests multiple delicious food options including Munch Box where you can order customizable grilled cheese sandwiches.<\/p>\n

DRESS YOUR BEST \"\"<\/a>
\nDress in what makes you look and feel your best. We encourage our guests to take this opportunity to show off their personal style! Our suggested attire for the Derby DayClub is Outdoor Elegant.
\nFor women, we suggest dresses, skirts, dress pants and blouse or jeans with comfortable shoes such as flats, sandals wedges, boots or block heels. Please avoid stiletto-style shoes as they will sink in the grass.<\/p>\n

For men, we suggest button-downs, blazer and some fun, colorful shorts or pants. Break out your biggest & best hat – one lucky winner will be deemed Best Derby DayClub Hat 2023 and will take home a prize.<\/p>\n
